Terms of Use.

Welcome. These Terms govern your use of samtheagent.org and the coaching, workshop, and educational services offered by SM Planning LLC ("Sam the Agent," "we," "us"). By using this site or booking a service, you agree to these Terms.

The most important thing: Sam the Agent provides financial education and coaching — not individualized investment, legal, tax, or accounting advice. We help you understand your options and build good habits. Decisions, and their outcomes, are yours.

Educational nature of our services

Coaching sessions, workshops, the book, videos, and all content are for general educational purposes. They are not a substitute for advice from a licensed financial advisor, attorney, accountant, or tax professional who knows your full situation. We make no guarantee of any particular financial result.

Life insurance services

Sam is an appointed life-insurance agent. When you request insurance planning, any products are offered and placed through the carriers and agencies with which Sam is appointed, subject to their terms, underwriting, and applicable state regulations. Insurance guidance is separate from the educational coaching described above.

Booking, payments & cancellations

  • Sessions are scheduled through Calendly and are subject to availability.
  • Fees are as listed at the time of booking. Some services (e.g. life-insurance planning) are offered at no charge.
  • Please reschedule or cancel at least 24 hours in advance. No-shows or late cancellations may forfeit any fee paid.
  • Workshop engagements are governed by the specific proposal or agreement for that booking.

The book & purchases

Book purchases made through Amazon are governed entirely by Amazon's terms and policies. Some links on this site may be affiliate links, meaning we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you.

Intellectual property

The content on this site — text, the four-step framework, workshop materials, and the Sam the Agent name and logo — belongs to SM Planning LLC. You're welcome to share links. Press-kit materials may be used to promote or cover Sam, with credit to "SM Planning LLC." Please don't otherwise copy, resell, or repurpose our materials without permission.

Your conduct

Please use this site lawfully and respectfully. Don't attempt to disrupt the site, misuse the forms, or submit false information.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, SM Planning LLC is not liable for any indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the site or reliance on its educational content. Our services are provided "as is."

Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the site means you accept the current version.
