For Schools & Community Organizations

Financial education your people will actually use.

Whether you're a school meeting New York's new K–12 personal finance mandate or a community organization equipping the families you serve, I bring engaging, real-life financial education — delivered by a certified financial educator who makes money make sense.

2026–27 Implementation begins
The NY Inspires mandate

The requirement is here — and the clock is running.

In March 2026, the NY Board of Regents adopted regulations requiring personal finance education for all public-school students, K–12. Grades 5–12 begin in the 2026–27 school year; grades K–4 follow in 2027–28. Districts must verify to the Commissioner that they've implemented instruction — and they can deliver it through embedded lessons, stand-alone classes, or CTE programming. That flexibility is where a specialized partner comes in.

Serving a community, not a school? The same need is everywhere — families, teens, and adults all deserve these skills. I partner with nonprofits, libraries, workforce and youth programs, faith and housing organizations, and more to bring financial education straight to your community.

Why bring in a partner

You have people to serve.
I have the program to reach them.

Schools are being asked to teach personal finance without added staff or a ready curriculum. Community organizations want to strengthen the families they serve but may not have a finance expert on the team. Either way — that's a real gap, and a solvable one.

The challenge you face

Schools: a new requirement, a tight timeline, and staff who may not feel equipped to teach credit, investing, or debt. Community orgs: the families you serve need money skills, but you don't have a finance educator on staff to deliver them well.

How I make it easy

Ready-to-run, real-life programming delivered by a certified financial educator — as a workshop series, a single session, an assembly, or staff-support materials. You get the impact you're after; your students or community members get someone who teaches this for a living.

Programs

Flexible ways to bring me in

Every program is audience-appropriate, interactive, and built around real-life decision-making — for students, teens, or adults. Mix and match to fit your calendar and budget.

1

Multi-Session Series

A guided journey through budgeting, saving, credit, debt, investing, and entrepreneurship — each session with worksheets, activities, and a goal-setting component that builds week to week.

2

Single Workshops & Events

High-energy, standalone sessions on a focused topic — perfect for advisory periods, financial literacy month, career days, assemblies, parent nights, or community events.

3

Staff & Curriculum Support

Ready-to-teach materials, slide decks, and coaching that help your teachers or program staff deliver personal finance with confidence — plus records to document your programming.

However it fits your setting

Flexible delivery — for classrooms and communities

Schools can meet the state requirement three ways, and community programs have the same flexibility. I plug into whichever fits your plan.

Embedded

Drop-in lessons inside existing courses or programs — a class period, an advisory, or an existing community program.

Stand-alone

A dedicated personal finance course or workshop series for your students or community members, taught or co-taught by me.

Readiness-aligned

Programming that supports college, career, and life-readiness goals — from CTE in schools to workforce and youth programs in the community.

What students learn

The real-life money skills that change lives

Sessions cover the core personal finance topics — aligned to the state's standards for schools, and just as relevant for teens and adults in the community — taught in plain language, with activities people remember.
